Michael Maher

Michael Maher began his recruiting career in 1996, working for top recruiting firms in New York City (Venturi Partners & Core Staffing).

After 8 years in search firm settings, Michael was recruited to run an RPO at Lehman Brothers (2003 - 2008). The RPO was responsible for filling 150+ positions per year in the areas of Administrative Support and non-exempt roles.

In 2009, Michael joined to Prudential Financial (2009-2017) where he was the Lead Recruiter for the firms’ CFO division. Michael recruited for all levels within the organization, including entry-level positions through executive-level roles. His scope of coverage included Tax, Audit, FP&A, Financial Reporting, Share Services, Procurement, and many other areas.


In 2017, after seven years with Prudential, Michael founded Dexterity Search Group, LLC, with the vision of creating a top level recruiting firm that focuses on clients most difficult-to-fill positions.

Dexterity focuses on searches within the Financial Services industry given Michael's background in the industry. However, Dexterity has expanded into other areas and now supports multiple industries including Public Relations, Advertising + Communications, Non-Profit, BioTech, Pharma, as well as a number of others.
